My future job

In the future I would love to work as a park ranger in a protected wild area in southern Chile. I'm actually interested in being the administrator of a protected wilderness area, however the jobs are similar. The truth is I feel that it is something necessary, since the protection of ecosystems and their challenges are something that have to be solved by living with the environment, in order to adapt to local needs.

As for the salary, according to what I have reviewed, the salaries are higher than 1,000,000 CLP. Although it is a good salary, I am satisfied that I give myself to live and be able to do a job that I like.

To be an administrator of a protected wild area, one must study forestry engineering or a similar career, so that said person knows how to manage said ecosystem. In addition, it is required to have experience for a year in a similar area and ideally know about ecosystem restoration and/or nursery.

In case of not being able to work on that, I would like to be able to carry out some work related to the prevention of forest fires, or one where I can go to measure the forest with a certain frequency, in order for it to help its protection.

My favourite tree or plant

Today i go to write about to my favourite tree. This is a hard question because I have so much trees that I liked, but after of a large reflexion I decided to write about Ñirre. My favourite tree is Ñirre or  Nothofagus antarctica , because the Ñirre is a tree that reminds me a travel to the Cordillera de Nahuelbuta with my friend Benjamin. The distribution of this tree is since Maule Region until Tierra del fuego. In the Ñuble Region it is located above 1800 m.s.n.m. The state of conservarion of this tree is non extinct. This tree is a deciduous species, with a small leaves with jagged edges and lobed. The fisic aspect of this tree frecuently is stubby, specially in conditions of snow. But in the south of Puerto Montt, is common a found this tree with 15 metters of high. The Ñirre dwell in diferents forestal types, for example: F.t. Araucaria, f.t. RORACO, f.t. Lenga, f.t. coigüe de magallanes, etc.

he best holidays ever

My best vacation was on the Carretera austral, in Patagonia. It was in the summer of 2020, specifically in February, a trip that lasted about a month. On this trip I decided to travel alone on the highway, starting from Puerto Montt and arriving at Caleta Tortel, then I returned to Coyhaique to fly back. (55) On the trip I had the opportunity to meet good people and many beautiful places, I did a lot of hiking, I also camped in most of the towns that were on the route, I rode by boat and one of the things that I enjoyed the most was being able to enter the photography of flora and fauna, in fact there I started. (118) This experience was so enriching that it helped me to learn and enjoy this territory a lot. Also as I traveled alone, I could do whatever I wanted without any difficulty. (148) If someone comes to go to this area, I recommend visiting the Michimahuida glacier , in the Pumalín National Park and also the Laguna del Puma , in the Queulat National Park.

Hi everyone, today I´m going to talk about the website: https://www.scielo.cl/ In this page we can found different scientific articles, which are very useful for the works of university. I found this site when I was looking for bibliographic references for a extended work of "Crecimiento y desarrollo de árboles (CYDA)". In this moment I discovered that has an option for cite in APA format, and I didn´t know how to do that. Other thing I like of this site is I can be filtered for country, languages, types of scientific articles and others options, which is so useful for seek specific information. What´s more have links of the bibliographic references of the article that is being read, this is very interesting because I can check the others articles and have a better base of information for the works . For this and other reasons I recommend use Scielo for do the different work of this career, this gets better if one uses the base of dates of CONAF and INFOR, which are usual
